# Is the pod meant to smell so bad

It smells like cheese and really does taste horrid. Is it normal?

Yes totally normal. But like most you will start to like the taste and don’t smell it anymore. 😅😅It’s hard to believe but see for yourself 😌

To me it smells amiseed-è y, but a very very strong aniseed. I decided not to drink any water on top to see how long the taste would last and it leaves just a bit of bitterness after few minutes. I think the smell is actually stronger than the taste. And it smells worse if someone else is spraying (my partner started before me, also he has a different colour of bottle and I think his is worse than mine).

The smell is definitely worse than the taste but you soon become nose blind to it.  
I’m on pod 2 and the taste stared out really bad but I’m getting used to it now and don’t notice it as much.  
I look at it as the good outweighs the bad smell/taste.  
Hopefully it works well for you
