Current book. It is quite gripping. Learning to read on Kindle App too which is new and a bit alien to me.

Oooo boom talk! I read way too much.
At the moment I’m reading Armageddons children book 1 of the genesis of shannara book series, the Witcher season of storms and infernal devices book 3 in the mortal engines series
Nice! I was never any good at reading from screens, but have become much better at it over the years. I still prefer reading from an actual book, though. My pile is mostly work-related books on creating better stories, UX and UI, brand bullsh*t and truths and I have a couple of graphic novels written by friends. ![]()
I think choice is very personal. If it makes you happy, or better informed, or if it interests you - read it. No judgements. Reading should be a pleasure.

If anyone hasn’t seen it yet, upload was good, season 2 came on prime today and so far I’m enjoying it
What’s it on? We’re watching Adam Project this evening, plus the new episode of Snowpiercer! ![]()
It’s on Amazon’s streaming service majiggy ![]()
that looks good I’m gonna watch it this weekend and I’ve already watched snowpiercers episode so have to wait for that again now
No spoilers! Hahaha ![]()
We will reconvene after I’ve watched both!
Welcome to.community .TacoTewzday
What kinds of books do you like to read or are you interested in reading?
I finished Upload a dsy or two ago. I really like that show, and the new twist at the end makes me curious about season 3 ![]()
@Sweena my favorites at the moment are Vikings, Love is blind & Married at first sight. All are great binge watchers!
I usually use YouTube at night, every night to binge watch documentaries. Science and history are my faves. I like anime shows too! I find it helps me eventually drift off. The odd occasion I’ve left my phone somewhere or it’s out of battery and i can’t watch, i find my anxious mind starts thinking about anything and everything and then i really can’t sleep.
The Last Kingdom was great (can’t wait for the movie! ), Outlander (great books ao I was really happy back whwn they first started the show … it’s still great), Snowpiercer, finished 1883 & Yellowstone, just started Moon Knight tonight, thr Gilded Age, Star Trek Discovery (I haveany shows I finished so if you need more…) I’ve been reading and watching too many things, mainly because of some depression
But another day in the books! If you know any shows that are good, let me know ![]()
Hi all, I am a binge watcher because due to my illnesses I’ve feck all else to do. I used love to read but these days I can’t concentrate as well because my arms hurt when I’m holding a book
but I love a good book when I can.
I watch loads of stuff. You name it I’ve prob tried it apart from star trek ,sorry
not into that.
Recently finished watching “Dare Me” on Netflix but before that it was another series and another and another . I use the android TVTime App to see what shows I might like plus it tells me when things air . So I also have a favourites list too. It’d a great app where you can talk about the episodes on every show with other users too so it’s cool.
Some of what I watched and favourited I hope I can post a shot of below and maybe someone might see something they’d be interested in?
I get you on the anxiety without distraction from what you like to watch or are interested in. I’m like that too. It always distracts me from that awful twisting anxious feeling
I love watching true crime but then I also love watching my favourite music videos and I love those react videos where a vocal tutor reacts to music they wouldnt have known previous. Like a classical vocal trainer watching 90s grunge or reactions to Eminem’s songs (I like a guy called MrLloyd)
Oh and I love Common Man channel. Basically Indian tribes who have been very sheltered reacting to things they’ve never been exposed to. That is so wonderful to see them react. They are so genuine. It’s very humbling.
I’ll have to check out that app. I could use it! Sorry to hear you’re ill. If I were livong in the UK I’d come over and watch shows with you! (I actually wish I were in the UK, to be honest, or a few places in Europe).
Of the shows you watch that I’ve seen, they’re good. Check out The Last Kingdom, its really good. Also Vikings and Vikings: Valhalla. Yellowstone and 1883. Animal Kingdom, The Umbrella Academy, The Nevers, 12 Monkeys, Invasion, Y: The Last Man, Stranger Things, DMZ (a good mini-series), Warrior, Warrior Nun, Hanna, His Dark Materials, Travelers, Impulse, High Town, an older show thats really good called The Originals, and another called Being Human, and Motherland: Fort Salem, to start. There’s also Dexter: New Blood (much better ending)… maybe it’ll help someone else lol. Of course there are more but those are off the top of my head. A few are only 1 season or are a few and ended with the pandemic but still worth watching. I’ve been having problems reading lately too. Anyway, hope this might help when you need something to watch.
I never heard of those. Ill try to check them out. Sorry you experience stress and anxiety like I do.
My cousin is in Yellowstone ![]()
Denim Richards, he plays Colby I believe. I’m embarrassed to say I haven’t watched it yet but don’t tell my cousin LOL
I’ve also watched Umbrella Academy, Stranger Things, Dexter (both)
Me and my younger daughter who’s 14 watch Chicago Fire every night. She’s been out of school a while now due to awful debilitating pelvic pain that doubles her over and no consultant has seen her or even given us an appt yet. It’s shocking.
You don’t know the right thing to do. I can’t bare to send her walking to school every morning with her heavy school bag and sitting suffering in pain all day long finding it so hard to concentrate. At home at least I can keep my eye on her and make sure she’s doing revision or keeping up to date with current work. Our health system here is SO bad!!!
I did enjoy binge watching the Last Kingdom until the valerian kicked in! ![]()
