Ever since i can remember I’ve alwaye woken up in the night and tip toed into thw kitchen at night to get somtime to eat, mainly somthing sweet and id awake to somthing half eaten or wrappers on all over the bedroom floor its somthing I’ve always done and I’ve never questioned myself why mainly because its always been a bit of a joke to people and i do see the funny side but with quite a diverse group of people here i was wondering dose anyone els do this?
I’m lucky that I don’t seem to be hungry all night I don’t think I could concentrate enough to chew , probably bite my cheek making things worse
Its almost that im sleepwalking but awake, poor kids hate me when they wake up and seen iv eaten everything lol
Totally get that it’s a really strange out of body experience , so hard to function normally
Completey, now i don’t no if there was a reason why i started years ago and now its just a subconscious routine now days my misses just tries to hide all the treats thing is if i eat something i can get back to sleep a lot better than if i dont! Strange and a bit of a funny situation
I wonder if there is a trigger now that has been with you when you were young and is buried deep inside your mind .
That is somthing i have been trying to work out for myself for years as i had a bit of a shitty childhood and as much as people say they are there for you sometimes talking to people who have no connection to you and can speek freely from a outsiders point of views can be sl refreshing
I believe we all bring crap from our younger years but I also believe that we have a past life which again brings nasty unresolved issues to the present day
Indeed, and they say things get easier with age but a lot of my past problems trouble me now more than when i was younger.
The main thing is not to pass it on to thw next generation of our children
Indeed we are the stop gap for our kids let’s pass on great memories and fun times for them
Hi, i too get up in the night and head to the fridge, usually its chocolate, or flapjack, then I’m awake for hours after, and most times i leave the food on the bedside table, either half eaten or not touched. Occasionally I’ve woken up to find ive fallen asleep with some choclate in my hand, then its time to clear up the mess!!! My sleep is awful, and has got worse the last 6 to 8 months, then in June i had a cancer diagnosis, thats not helped me at all, now sleep is avoiding me, i never sleep longer than 40 to 60 mins, and have tried all sorts to help, l came across this trial and I’ve been journaling for 18 days, waiting for my pebble. I’ve seen a lot of posts that people say that its a big help with their sleep, I’m hoping it helps me, 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep would feel like I’ve conquered everest, fingers crossed it helps me.
