Awesome … we have been thinking that one through for a long time! (Over a year)! What’s your verdict so far if the calm journal … pushed out a few improvements to make the UX and ui a little less clunky but love some feedback from you both having seen the latest tweaks … ![]()
I liked the bubbles, I think it’d be cool to add sounds for the bubbles when you pop them though ![]()

I prefer it too the last update too
It’s definitely more user friendly too
So we are picking up improvements so far that we know are missing … but love to hear your experience with the calm journal … do you like the “experience” or would you have as easily preferred six questions with a slider? Are there areas you have struggled with the calm journal since the improvements in the wheel etc have been pushed out? Maybe have a think next time you have the privilege (or pain) of doing a calm journal … always grateful for all the feedback ![]()
I’ve been answering the bubbles questions for a while now so I guess I’m at the latest version and must agree with @Aaron that if you’re
you must be somehow special ![]()
I love the bubbles! On my phone the dial is a bit clunky though but nothing that ruins the experience and the questions make a lot of sense.
What about the moods dial? I’m still selecting ‘Tired’ every day because I’m most days tired anyway, but would love to see those proposed options reflected there ![]()
I think “Meh” was voted for by many ![]()
That’s awesome feedback @fcjulia … just to double check we call the experience where the bubbles are moving on the screen the sofi “bubbles” … this one …
If you just tap the “indifferent” bubble … “meh” should be one of the choices you can designate that bubble to. Try it next time xx ![]()
The bubbles are better in my opinion
I found it hard some days to decide on them whilst the bubbles can capture who I am for the day quite easily ![]()
@Kaveh my apologies, I was wrong! I thought the bubbles were the questions but that’s the palette! So many new and great features! ![]()
I’m downloading the latest version now and looking forward to test the bubbles! Looks awesome! ![]()

Here’s my bubbling experience this morning …
Had to make it low res to load it up …. But that’s what I journaled this morning! ![]()
There were a few things we were thinking about when we were creating the bubbles … firstly Im really not a fan of typeforms … you know the kind that begins with name, dob, underlying condition … it reminds me of ditto my in a doctors surgery … I just hate forms I think! Also the idea that you can pick in an arbitrary numerical scale (1 to 7) how X you feel … I mean I have never felt very strongly about converting something so complex into a single number … and does that number feel different on a good day or bad day … does my 5 mean your 5 … no … had to move forwards. Crazy that our entirely medical questionnaires on how we feel are based on these arbitrary exchanges of converting complex things into a number value … and of course, the idea of just feeling one thing … maybe in the moment and even in the moment always there is a plurality of things … so really happy sofi bubbles is finally here ![]()
I got the bubbles! Exciting! ![]()

The range of moods is amazing! With each bubble showing a series of options! And the visuals are perfect!
They are bouncing around and I tested all the functions, all good and in working order. JFI the app installed in an iPhone 11 running iOS 16.5.
That’s amazing xx so happy it’s working well on your device
… we are going to be watching and listening to our community as there hundreds of different types of devices over the coming days and weeks … but this for us is the sofi signature engagement xx. Thx again for all the feedbsck!
Hi everyone, looks as though the app is behaving again. Just an update on my score.

I’m having a bit of a problem making the bubbles bigger and smaller, it could be that my screen doesn’t respond well to my fingers. I suppose it’s like anything new I’ll get used to it in time.
With me I can enlarge and reduce but I can’t pop them unfortunately. Are we supposed to poke them to make them burst?
Apparently you double tap them to burst them but it doesn’t always work with me.
Thank Eevie I will try that. I couldn’t burst them the last couple of days so my emotions appeared very odd I should think. Or I just looked indecisive ![]()
@Eevie can you confirm your device type so we can look into this more? Do you generally have any issues with your touch screen when using google map and you are pinching zooming in and out?
