This is quite interesting 
I am just wondering what is the difference between the black Sofi pod and the white Sofi pod, or do they do the same thing?
Also by fragrance, do you mean it will be a perfume spray ( to be used as perfume) or would it be the same as the others?
I don’t spraying it would help me sleep… as sleep pillow sprays are just the worst in my opinion.

That’s an excellent question @StaceyTsReviews and let me see if I can help … the amazing natural plants that we are spraying as formulations in our mouths are designed for spraying and swallowing and for gently nudging our bodies over time towards a more sustainable equilibrium with everything that is causing our lack of sleep and calm … this is loving, patient and gentle work … and of course as we discover the right plants for you it is transformative in every way … the functional fragrances (aloe plant/based) that we are going to activate and test on the sofi platform are designed to be used as you would a luxury fragrance … ok the skin or on the air on your clothes … however you may wear a fragrance. The difference is that these particularly “functional” fragrances are designed to illicit a specific immediate response … fast than caffeine, nicotine, sugar, alcohol … the usual mood modulators that we use … so they are designed for immediate effect. Our partner has been developing this for nearly 30 years with randomised control trials in labs … what we are doing for the first time with sofi is seeing if we can find real world evidence to support their findings with real pioneers in their every day lives … so we are super excited. And the first target state we are working on is focus … on the very important question of black v white sofi pods … when we launch layer this year the sofi pod will be available in both colours for our Pioneers and customers to use. We are introducing the white pods but have already made corrections for the fourth and final gen of sofi pods being released over the summer … hope that’s helpful! Thank you for your response Kaveh, you have answered my questions perfectly and it’s quite interesting how this all works, I just have another question, and that the fragrance that will be sprayed on clothes and in the air, would it be okay sprayed around cats? Since I know most cats are allergic to certain plants

Well we will have to find out … whether you have an average cat … if you do, when we move back to valerian you should see how your cat behaves around the sofi capsules … it is extremely funny to watch @StaceyTsReviews

Really good explanation. I do find I am super tuned in to smells. I pick up on smell around me and respond to smells - positively and negatively. I often smell things others around me don’t. I think these new sprays are amazing. The white spray is also super chic.

Looking forward to getting the chance to try the fragrances @Kaveh. I’m sure we all will at some point but it looks like you are all rushed of your feet. With so many new pioneers you must need extra labour in the packing department!

I have nearly gone through two focus capsules @dcm.leeds and love it … we are going to cycle through valerian and passiflora on this new gen sofi pods that we rolled out with ashwaganda… but going to see if we can get some focus functional fragrances to our plant formulation pioneers who are interested in exploring … maybe we make a list with @alexwalkerjones help after we cycle through the plants once … we may even release a whole bunch of them here to let all pioneers try … let’s see how we get through the summer but will definitely keep you posted @dcm.leeds

Thanks for the message and the update. I would most certainly be very interested in being part of any UK trials of the fragrance sprays. It is an area I find fascinating and I know that I am impacted by certain smells, positively and negatively. I will look forward to hearing more.

Omg! This sounds so amazing!!! 
I have Crohn’s disease and am very sensitive to caffeine, so I struggle with energy and focus during the day. It’s also important for me to keep any health and wellness treatments as natural as possible so I don’t have too many chemicals in my body or have something that flares my stomach up!
If I could look after all those aspects (sleep/focus/energy) naturally with Sofi sprays, and have one monthly payment going out instead of multiple, that would be so perfect!!!
Im really excited to be part of this sleep study, and to possibly have the opportunity to trial these fragrances as well, absolutely brilliant

That’s a great point @JustLau5 - and we definitely want sofi to be flexible enough to allow for multiple capsules to be used within the same day, for example focus in the AM before work, and valerian at night 
This way we work on providing a personal “playlist” of plants for your mood and energy and plant to support your sleep! Of course, we still have a ways to go before that point, but we are so so excited and happy to hear that you are too!

Important question @BrandNewMe. Unlike our plant formulations which are single-ingredient based with a teeny amount of additional ingredients for mixing purposes and taste - our formulations are significant scent blends with descriptions, provided to us by our fragrance partner, as follows:

focus 1: crafted using an expert blend of 6 essential oils. sustainably sourced and produced using green chemistry. 100% natural and biodegradable. palm-oil free.

focus 2: crafted using an expert blend of 1 essential oil with 95% natural origin ingredients. sustainably sourced and produced using green chemistry. highly biodegradable. palm-oil free.

focus 3: crafted using an expert blend of 7 essential oils. sustainably sourced and produced using green chemistry. 100% natural and biodegradable. palm-oil free.
Unfortunately, we aren’t able to provide a specific ingredient breakdown of the technology, like we do for our other formulations, as our fragrances are not something you ingest.
Personally, I struggle alot with the smell of some perfumes - the fragrances some shops pump into the air can give me an immediate and stubborn headache! - but our scents for focus are more a-kin to the way essential oils may effect you if that’s helpful at all.
Of course, if you have sensitive skin, then we would recommend a patch test and waiting 24 hours, or simply choosing to spray into the air instead.

Got to say the thought of an aromatic spray as well as the original Sofi spray takes the whole project into more unusual and more imaginative areas. The possible combinations seem endless and exciting. Lavender, rosemary, honey, cinnamon etc. Keep spraying.
