I hadnt thought about how often it would be necessary to charge the new pod. When it wasnt being recognised it occurred to me that maybe I needed to charge the pod again. That might have been the reason for the sprays not being picked up.

Hi @Meg,
The battery charge should last between 7-10 days, depending on use. Should you find the pod failing to count down around that time, it definitely worth another 60-minute full charge 
I personally, find it easiest to charge mine every 3-4 nights or so, just as a precaution/routine so that it’s never without juice !
