Hi @Patty1118 - a couple things we can double check: (it’s a great sign that you’re seeing the green light come on with each sprays!)
Are you trying to pair directly in the sofi app (correct), andnot the bluetooth settings of your phone?
Are bluetooth and location serves specifically enabled for the sofi app. You can check this by going to settings, finding the sofi app, and ensuring that both of these are switched to “on” or “while using the sofi app.”
I’ve attached a photo for you just above, please let me know if that works at all. Once you are sure your settings are all correct, it can also act as a pairing “reset” if you log out and log back in, so that may be worth a try too
I’m still having trouble hearing it with my app what can I do about this I’ve reset it I’ve done everything I don’t know what else to do
I see @Patty1118 - thanks for trying those potential solutions first. When you have a moment, could you please attach an image of your Home Screen? Where your formulation and bottle number appear. This way we can see exactly what state your app is as far as being paired.
Many thanks and look forward to hearing back,
Ok I put everything on my tablet it’s working I just paired the first one so I finally got it working again so I continue with the first one for like five more days and then I switch to the second one just wondering what to do I’ve been using the first one now
Happy to hear that @Patty1118 - although let me know how it continues as technically speaking our sofi app is not build for compatibility with tablets. Hopefully it continue to work okay for you!
Once you finished 6 days of spraying with your current capsule (or if it runs out completely before those 6 days are up) then go ahead and swap to your next one, with a pause (no sprays) for one day in between. Please keep up the journaling work in the meantime - and then repeat for the next spray!
I hope that helps and here anytime should you get stuck x
Hi @Kaveh @alexwalkerjones
I got the RFID message briefly today but it disappeared when I sprayed and they were registered normally, however I’m still getting the white screen of death problem.
Mostly happens when it gets to the bubbles bit of the journal. Sometimes as soon as I login. Been the last 4 or 5 days.
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post about it. Wasn’t sure whether to post here or as a new topic?
I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling Sofi, cleared cache in all my apps, turned phone off and back on but still happens. Don’t think it’s my phone as only happening with Sofi.
I feel bad as I can’t give you proper journaling with this problem and I’m sorry to report another problem!
In case it’s relevant my phone is a few years old (I’m getting a new one soon) and can’t update to Android 11. I’m on Android 10 but there’s been no problem doing Sofi until last week so I don’t think it’s that?
I don’t know where to send a bug report to… Haha, supernoob.
I know I figured it out last time, and I believe Alex told me to get a screenshot. But when I went to answer her, I didn’t even know where I had received her message from!
My issue is, I think with my account.
My app keeps asking me to verify my email. But I don’t think I ever entered an email address… I believe I heard about this app, then downloaded it and just started journalling.
After continuous email verification requests, that didn’t work, and me, fruitlessly trying to find the conversation on here, I decided to check my account. Now somehow… I was able to get access to the Treehouse without an account.
So I made one on here.
But now, it sais I’ve been a member since September, although I’ve been journalling since August. And whenever I click on the treehouse link though, in my “Bourne Identity” app, it sends me here. Automatically signed in, to this account.
So. I guess my question is: is it possible to link my app to this account, without losing my seeds?
Tagging @Kirill and @alexwalkerjones in here for you
Thank you so much, Aaron! That’s ever so nice of you!
Hmm… the video of me clicking the button is too big… this was a test. Sorry.
It worked this time.
Also: I can’t find any email information in the sofi app. Only my physical address.
On the treehouse I am signed in correctly, email is correct. But it’s not the treehouse that asks me for email verification. It’s the sofi app…
Thanks for your message (and thank you @Aaron for the tag!) - you are in the right place. Let’s see what we can do to get this figured out.
You mentioned several things in your post, so I’ll go in order to make sure I’m not leaving anything out!
- My app keeps asking me to verify my email. But I don’t think I ever entered an email address…
If you originally created your account via Google, Apple log-in, or Facebook, then it is possible that you never entered your email into the app, and will therefore only be able to log-in using the same method as you originally signed up with.
If this is the case, then unfortunately we can’t link your treehouse and app accounts.
- But now, it sais I’ve been a member since September, although I’ve been journalling since August. And whenever I click on the treehouse link though, in my “Bourne Identity” app, it sends me here. Automatically signed in, to this account.
The sofi treehouse and the sofi app are technically two separate platforms, so a different account is required for each. You should stay logged in to both/either platform unless you choose to log-out, but hopefully that clear up any confusion!
- So. I guess my question is: is it possible to link my app to this account, without losing my seeds?
Unfortunately, if it is the case that you signed up via FB, Google, or Apple log-in then no. I’m afraid I can’t specifically determine how you log-in, but I can confirm that our system shows an email address on record for your sofi app, so you may have used your email to create an account in the sofi app after all.
In that case, by simply changing your email in the app (or treehouse) so that the two match, your accounts will automatically sync and you’ll be awarded sofi seeds within the app for any treehouse activity here
I hope that helps, and if anything is unclear, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
Thank you Alex! That was very clear and consice!
Cheers! And have a good start to the week.
