That’s amazing @trudy … fingers xed! ![]()
Last night with the new battery I reset the app and re paired with the stick and it worked fine, tonight though no matter what I do the Bluetooth won’t connect to my tablet or my phone so I’ll probably need some help with it if possible please.
If you let me know what you need from me I’ll send it or find some time for a zoom call, whichever is easier.
Evening @daniel.butler1408 and great to hear from you though sorry our Bluetooth Bridge is misbehaving. Can you confirm the phone, type and operating system? Also adding @alexwalkerjones and @Kirill so we can keep track of this. On the sofi stick side can you confirm you can see green light when you press it (so battery is working). If you are on android can you also clear your cache and restart phone and device ensuring blue tooth is on. Finally can you do a screen record of your mobile and post here? Let us know what time works for you tomorrow @daniel.butler1408 snd between @alexwalkerjones and I we will find a slot to get you back up and running. In the meantime, wishing you a wonderful and hopefully restful night! ![]()
@Kaveh
It so good to read all the feedback from Sofi-Users.
How will the feedback be used in the roll-out of S2? Some issues seem quite significant (stick malfunction; battery issues; ) which makes me wonder what the team is currently doing to eliminate those issues?
Thank you for sharing!
Have a good night
We are continuously prioritising new feature releases against fixing bugs. This is most dynamic on the digital side of sofi with the tram @alexwalkerjones and @Kirill ticketing every piece of feedback we see here and on the direct app comms feedback (the moon on the top left of the screen). We currently have 19 open conversations and 478 closed ones in there! So digitally that’s much more dynamic!
On the sofi stick we know many of the limitations when we are manufacturing and ahead of release of the version. We knew for example batteries would be an issue but we know we are addressing that in S3. And then we of course learn the variability of user experience in the field. For example we did not expect that many Pioneers would jam their plant pods the opposite direction so we introduced adjustment to plant pod top cap and internal of sofi stick to make a +/- 15 degree orientation issue (bottle is facing the right direction just not centred) to a significantly wider degree of operation. Or for example we learn the the aerodynamics of the spray not just of the pump in the air but also the pump in the sofi stick and look at ways to reduce the internal build up of liquid. So something are iterative and we look at their impact on tooling.
Digital adjustment are much more dynamic and releases within a Pioneer Program. Stick related adjustments need to be prioritised and can be introduced between Pioneer Programs but most often will require tooling adjustment that have an impact say not just on the stick but also the spray.
It’s been a really amazing experience to co-develop sofi with such as awesome community. There is a natural reticence in engineers and designers to release work in progress. In fact we are going to release four such build before sofi is ready to be sold, the S1, S2, S3 and S4. And there are forward features and adjustments already planned for each of those! So far our Pioneers have been using and giving us feedback on the first draft.
As always ever grateful.
