I only recently realized that you can slide the app side to side to see progress. Very interesting, exciting, and helpful. Such a blessing to be here.

The new app looks great. I would just like to ask, how do I improve my sofi score. Its been 10 for what feels like ages, or since I started journalling (warranted this isnt for a super long time as I didn’t realise I had too pre pioneer pack) . Thank you.

The guys pushed it out just a few hours ago snd we are one button away …. Also your accounts should pre populate with sofi seeds based on all your historic engagement with sofi to date!

And one of our team members in the States just sent this article from the New York Times … imagine that!

That looks interesting Kaveh.
Unfortunately i have to subscribe to view it and its not a publication that i would be likely to read a lot of.

In a nutshell does ths article say it works?

Here’s a little snippet of what the article says:

"From its long history up to present day, ashwagandha has been used to treat insomnia and bolster the immune system, as well as to reduce stress. It’s also thought to boost testosterone, slow the physical effects of aging and more.

Talking about ashwagandha as one compound, as if it’s Tylenol or vitamin C, makes absolutely no sense,” he [D. Craig Hopp, a deputy division director at the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health] said.

“Adaptogens don’t work like an aspirin,” Dr. Ring [integrative medicine specialist at Northwestern Medicine] echoed. “They work over time.” "

The article goes on to say that while a handful of relatively small studies on the benefits and effects of ashwagandha have been done, it’s hard to say exactly how ashwagandha might affect a particular individual, until further studies that can demonstrate these connections on a larger scale can be done.

Excitingly, as you all know best, we will shortly be activating ashwagandha in our own personal “study” of N-of-1 - the first real world study of ashwaganahda through the sofi ecosystem, and our chance to make some incredible individual discoveries with the plant!

And we know from our very first Program (the S1) exactly how individual our responses can be: Sofi | observation 01 | we are all deeply individual

So, instead of looking at a group of 1,000 people, analysing their results, and applying that across the board to an entire population, our approach with sofi happens in the opposite way: individual experience first.

This way we hope to deepen our understanding of the whole relationship between people and plants - not one that just takes place in a clinical lab setting! What do you think? x
